This type of water is useful for dialysis and sleep apnea machines. Most continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) manufacturers recommend using distilled water in the CPAP humidifiers to maximize the life of the water tub and reduce mineral deposits. Portable dialysis machines have strict water requirements and distilled water is the safest choice.

Bottled Water Dispensing Systems are an efficient bottled water dispensing system for appliances. The Bottled Water PLUS is part of Flojet’s premium water dispensing product line. When a water bottle is connected to the system, fresh water is available for use with coffee and tea machines, water dispensers, refrigerators, ice makers, or any other application where portable, potable water is needed. The Bottled Water PLUS system is also designed for convenience; the pump shuts off when the water source is depleted, and when water is restored, the pump will automatically restart. This eliminates the chance of any damage to the appliance running dry.
Pro-Water Conditioning will perform a test on your water and analyze what type of water treatment system is required. Pro-Water does not conduct a bacterial analysis on the water.
Complete bacterial analysis can be done at Central Labs in Red Deer.
Central Labs is located at 53 Burnt Park Drive, Red Deer, Alberta. See their website for more information: c-labs.ca.
A second option to have your water analyzed for bacteria is the Provincial Laboratory of Public Health and Alberta Centre for Toxicology. For more information, visit Alberta’s bacteriological sample locations.
Why should I have my well water supply tested? Find out, here.
As of January 1, 2015, we no longer provide water well shock chlorination service.*
If you choose to shock chlorinate you water well on your own, Pro-Water can supply you with 12% chlorine and rent you a storage tank for the procedure.
For complete instructions for recommended water well shocking procedures, visit Alberta Health Services.
*Although we believe well shocking to be a very effective way to remove harmful bacteria from your well water, it is our experience that well shocking can cause corrosive effects (leaking) in copper piping inside the home and may cause well-pumps to plug and cease working (caused by the cleaning properties of the chlorine). If bacteria is reoccurring, we recommend for homeowners on well water to install a constant chlorination or peroxide system, which would treat the water outside of the well and eliminate the need to shock the well.
Improve the lifetime of your washing machine and plumbing system with our quality water softeners.
Iron in your water doesn’t just make your food taste worse, it can stain your faucets, sinks, and pipes.
Tannin in your water creates brown colouring, a bitter taste, and it stains sinks, toilets, and tubs.
